On 08/22/22, Sergeant Davis contacted a male who  was trying to get to Hermiston to live with family members. He was staying at the Econolodge and ran out of money. He was able to get a ride to Hermiston but not until the next day. A single night stay was purchased at the Kennewick Econolodge so he had a place to stay for the night.

On 8/18/2022 at approximately 0256 hours, Officer E Campbell was dispatched to a disturbance. Upon arrival, involved female came into the parking lot. She had been involved in an argument with her girlfriend, and the neighbor had called the police. Officer had assistance in translating, as she  does not speak English. On 8/15/2022, Officer Joyce and Evidence Technician assisted an elderly female who recently had her mobile chair with walker-seatattachment stolen. The chair is not motorized, yet it had a hand brake and was used for mobility purposes. A brand new chair was purchased at Bellevue Healthcare.

On 8/11/22, Administrative Assistant Blanca purchased a pair of shoes for one of the police department CHIPS volunteers. He recently had a serious medical ussue and is currently in rehab at Lourdes.
