On May 15, 2019 Detectives were investigation a case reported by CPS. They contacted 23 year old female who had been caring for her 3 year old sister for a week. Her mother dropped the child off and by all accounts went on a drug fueled binge. Mother left nothing with the child and has not contacted them since she left the child. On March 3, 2019 officers responded to a call at Hawthorne Elementary School regarding a male lying on the sidewalk. School indicated that male had been there for a long time. They contacted a homeless male that had no place to stay. Due to the weather they transported the male to the Econolodge. Funds where use for three nights and some food for the homeless man.
