On June 27, 2019 officers and mental health professional responded to a house regarding a resident with mental health issues that was going to be homeless because the house is being sold. The resident has not made living arrangements for when the homes sales and has stopped taking his medications. A cell phone and minutes was purchased for him so the mental health professional and other crisis assistance could reach him.

Officers arrived and made contact with a female, her five (5) children and both of her parents who live with her. On June 23, 2019 officers contacted a female asking for money at the Winco entrance. The female had a one (1) year old baby in a stroller. She explained to officers that they were traveling from California on their way to Spokane to find work. Their vehicle broke down and they used all their money to fix it. Officers found a find a family of five (5) had recently moved out of their apartment because it was too expensive. They work in the fields and don’t make much.
