A New program in Kennewick allowing officers to have a more hands-on approach when it comes to helping the community.

    On April 30, 2020, Officers responded to a domestic violence call where a female had be assaulted by her boyfriend. Male fled before officers arrived and was not located. Female was very scare he would return and assault her again for calling the police. Female has no family, vehicle or driver’s license. Her closest relative lives in Hermiston, Oregon.     On April 12, 2020, Officers were dispatched to a verbal domestic violence, dispatched advised that female was reporting that ex-boyfriend was at the location refusing to leave. She advised that he has a drinking problem and she wanted him out of the residence.
