Our mission is to support a safer community by consistently identifying and securing public and private contributions which will be used to supplement funding for selected education, training, special equipment and pertinent programs for the Kennewick Police Department and the community.

A New program in Kennewick allowing officers to have a more hands-on approach when it comes to helping the community.

Case #25-010626 On February 7, 2025 Officer Quinones was dispatched to an assist at Wal-Mart. He contacted male in the parking lot of the location who was inquiring about the community care fund for assistance in fueling his vehicle to make it back to Hermiston, OR. December 27, 2024 Officers were dispatched to Baymont inn & Suites on an assist call. Officers contacted the reporting party via phone. The reporting female informed officers her vehicle, which contained her debit/credit cards, Identification card, and other various personal items, was recently stolen in La Grande Oregon, while visiting family for the holidays.
