On December 23, 2018 officers responded to assault call, 21 year old woman was the victim ofassault – domestic violence. She had no family in the area. She was living with boyfriend’smother. On December 18, 2018 officers were called to a welfare check at a local gas station. A deaf elderly couple was passing through and ran out of gas and had no money. They were coming from Arizona headed to Seattle. The male, 69 year old, was in a wheelchair and on oxygen. A full tank of gas and a gift card were purchased for them. They were very thankful for the help.

On December 16, 2018 officers responded to assist a female who had locked her vehicle with her 2 year old daughter inside and the vehicle running. The female use the officer’s cell phone to call family members to assist her with no luck. She explained that she did not have the money to pay for a locksmith to open her car.
