December 27, 2024 Officers were dispatched to Baymont inn & Suites on an assist call.  Officers contacted the reporting party via phone. December 16, 2024 School Resource Officer Canada helped out a Migrant Family through Chinook Middle School for clothing, food and the holidays. Family was identified by the Migrant Counselor, looking to help this family. The father is not here and it is the mom, 8th grade daughter and 1st grade son.18

December 16, 2024 Officer Harris while working as a uniformed school resource officer at Highlands Middle School, was contacted by a school counselor reference a family in need of propane gas for their RV. On November 30, 2024 Officers were dispatched to a halfway was where a female was requesting assistance. The female was being evicted with her two young children. It was a very cold night. Officers assisted her and her children with a two night stay at a local hotel.
