On April 26, 2019 officers assisted the US Marshals with a wanted subject. They were multiple subjects arrested while doing the search, the wanted subject refused to come out. On April 16, 2019 Sergeant Dronen followed up on the male with the two small boys. Male attended meeting with on-site Mental Health Professional and he was provided with necessary paperwork to start the process for housing. He got approved for housing at an apartment complex and Goodwill offered him a job but needed to go to DSHS to file out more paperwork. He went to DSHS and they scheduled another appointment for him. On April 15, 2019 Sergeant Dronen contacted a male with two small boys. Male was staying at a friend’s apartment and had a falling out. He moved from Port Orchard to Kennewick and is currently in training for a job at Goodwill. He left the apartment with no place to go. On April 11, 2019 Officer Canada was dispatched to assist at the Econolodge. He contacted a male, his wife and two sons, (one is autistic), who asked for assistance with one night. He explained that they have been at the hotel for a week via state funds. He was asking for assistance for one night as they had an apartment for them the following day.
