On April 15, 2019 Sergeant Dronen contacted a male with two small boys. Male was staying at a
friend’s apartment and had a falling out. He moved from Port Orchard to Kennewick and is
currently in training for a job at Goodwill. He left the apartment with no place to go. On-site
Mental Health Professional Lakey provided the male with resources to find housing. A meeting
was scheduled for the next day to start the housing process. Funds were used for one night at
the Super 8 motel to assist the male to ensure the children did not sleep in the vehicle.
