On 8/11/22, Administrative Assistant Blanca purchased a pair of shoes for one of the police department CHIPS volunteers. He recently had a serious medical ussue and is currently in rehab at Lourdes. He is in need of tennis shoes with grip on the bottom to assist with rehab therapysessions. His feet are very swollen and unable to wear his tennis shoes. His wife is able to afford new shoes for him. His wife did not ask forassistance. She was very grateful and had tears in her eyes when she was given the shoes. They do so much for the department and never ask foranything in return.12
