December 16, 2024 School Resource Officer Canada helped out a Migrant Family through Chinook Middle School for clothing, food and the holidays. Family was identified by the Migrant Counselor, looking to help this family. The father is not here and it is the mom, 8th grade daughter and 1st grade son.18

On November 30, 2024 Officers were dispatched to a halfway was where a female was requesting assistance. The female was being evicted with her two young children. It was a very cold night. Officers assisted her and her children with a two night stay at a local hotel.

November 19, 2024 Sergeant Rosame was contacted by a middle school teacher reference a family in holiday need. A female currently has four children and they just got custody of her fiancée’s four children as well. She was concerned due to strained finances she could not provide Christmas gifts for eight children. A Walmart gift card was purchased to assist.

October 15, 24 Officer Castilleja was in the area of Canal Drive and Fruitland Street when he observed a citizen pushing his Harley Davidson motorcycle on the sidewalk. The citizen looked fatigued and out of breath, as if he had been pushing it for quite some time.
