On January 12, 2026, Sergeant Rosane was contacted by the Safety Officer at Hawthorne Elementary regarding a bicycle that was stolen from a little boy. The mother of the little boy reported the bicycle stolen from in front of the school during the school day by unknown grown male. The school surveillance showed an unidentified grown male on foot take the bicycle from the front of the school. The child uses the bicycle to travel to and from school every day and the cost to replace the bike would be a financial burden on the family. Sergeant Rosane used funds to purchase the exact model of bicycle that was stolen. The bicycle will be presented to the child on 01 /13/26.
