On March 31, 2026, Officer Jose Garcia was dispatched to an auto theft call. He contacted the reporting party and registered owner of the vehicle. She explained that her vehicle had been stolen from the parking lot. She advised that she had a car seat inside the vehicle to drive her niece around when she babysits along with her non-slip work shoes for her second job. Later in the day another call came in regarding her vehicle. Officer Garcia located the vehicle and after doing a search on the vehicle the car seat and shoes were not located. Officer Garcia purchased a new car seat and new shoes for the victim.
