On March 31, 2026, Officer Jose Garcia was dispatched to traffic hazard. When he arrived, he observed a vehicle stopped at the light-turning lane with hazards lights activated. He contacted the juvenile driver who had two other juveniles in the vehicle. Officer Garcia asked the female what had happened and she explained that her vehicle had just stopped working. After further inspection, he observed the front passenger side ball joint disconnected and the front of the vehide partially touching the roadway. It was apparent at this point she was not going to be able to move the vehicle out of the roadway. Officer Garcia informed her that he would be calling a tow truck, and she said that she was trying to call someone to help her out. She explained that she did not have any funds to pay for the tow bill. Officer Garcia paid for the tow truck to tow it to her residence.
