On July 25, 2019 an officer was contacted by agency that helps youth at risk. They ask to
partner with Kennewick Police Department to help a youth in need. They were in the process of
helping a homeless youth get into an inpatient facility. They had a bed for him but not until the
next day and he needed to be off the streets for the night. The youth does not have family in
the area to help him. Funds were used to purchase a night at Clover Island Inn.
