On January 29, 2022 Officer Duty saw a female outside of the police station. He made
contact with her and found that she needed some help. She advised that she recently moved back to Tri-
Cities after being gone for a while. She was living on an Indian Reservation in Rosberg, Oregon and
recently made plans to move back here with the assistance of the Reservation. She was told at the last
minute by the Reservation that they did not have funds to assist her. She had no alternative plan, so she
has been staying in her vehicle with her cat Izzie. She advised that she is on a list for housing and has job
interviews lined up but needed assistance on a place to stay for a few days. Funds were utilized to pay
for 4 nights at Clover Island Inn. She was provided the number for Human Services. She was very
thankful for the assistance.
