on January 27, 2022 KPD and WSP responded to a semi-truck crash on SR 395 at Hildebrand
Blvd. A semi-truck was traveling too fast for conditions and hit the median. The truck rolled onto its side,
spilling the trailer contents. Both northbound and southbound lanes were closed for hours. The driver of
the semi-truck is from Texas. His wallet, containing credit cards and money, could not be located in the
damaged semi. He had no way to pay for the temporary lodging and no money for food. Funds were
utilized to pay for 2 nights lodging at Clover Island Inn. He was also given a $50 Visa gift card donated to
KPD to purchase food.
