Park Middle School employee advised School Resource Officer of a family consisting of a mother and three younger children temporarily living at the Econolodge.  Staff at the school were advised by the mother that she had secured permanent housing but the residence would not be ready until 10/9/2020.  Staff also advised that after paying for the deposit, mother has been unable to pay for the room. Staff at Park MS requested assistance with paying for the hotel room for mother and her children. Staff advised that they would pay for half of the room if the Community Care Fund could be utilized to pay for the other half. Family had been assisted September 2020 and it was determined that due to the children being involved; the funds should be used to assist with the family.
