On January 28, 2020, Officers contacted a female who was flown to Washington from New York by her
son several months ago and were living in different cities before coming to Kennewick. After an
argument over money, she was told to leave the hotel where they were staying at with no money to pay
for a room or way back to New York. She had been looking for permanent housing and has already
applied for food stamps and other assistance. Funds were used to pay for three nights at Guesthouse
Suites to assist her with housing until her permanent housing is approved.
