Officer Garcia was notified of information at Southridge High School.

He spoke with the School’s Student Support Coordinator, who explained the following. A Female, moved from Mexico a few years ago and started school late here in the states. Her parents recently moved back moved back to Mexico, hoping that she would follow. She chose to stay in the States, continuing her education. She moved in with her cousin, sharing an apartment. She had been informed that everyone was moving. This left her scrambling to find housing, despite being a high school student. She informed Coordinator of the information. The coordinator contacted the Housing Resource Center who was able to set her up with permanent housing at My Friends Place starting date 05/01/2026. The coordinator was able to set up temporary housing for the student from 04/14/2026 to 04/19/2026 and 04/22/2026 to 04/30/2026. After exhausting all leads to try and get housing for 04/19/2026 to 04/22/2026, the coordinator could not find anything. Officer Garcia assisted with booking the student a room for three nights.
