On August 4, 2025, Officer Quinones was dispatched to assist. He contacted a female who was here from Othello with her 9- and 8-year-old sons. She was referred to SARC for assistance with an investigation she was part of. She explained she had met with SARC but they requested her to come back the next day for additional resources. She explained she did not have money to go home and come back the next day. She was requesting assistance for a place to stay after checking with the Tri-City Union Mission. The mission told her that the facility was not suitable for children. Officer Quinones transported the mother and her two boys to local hotel where he purchased a night stay for them.
