On May 30, 2023, Officer Contreras was dispatch to a call reference a pool being drained. Upon arrival
Officer Contreras viewed a large pool of water which had amounted in front of an apartment. Office
Contreras spoke to the tenant. She advised the entirety of her living area was flooded and the extent
of the damage caused was unknown. She resides in the apartment with her children ages 12, 4, and 2
months. The mother of three did not have a place to stay while her apartment was being dried and
cleaned. Officer Contreras assisted by providing her housing for two nights at a local hotel.
