On May 19, 2023, Officer Garcia was dispatched to an assist at the Nueva Vista Apartments.
Reporting party, a female, advised that there was an order to be served on a male, who was currently
at the location. Officer Garcia confirmed there was an order that had not yet been served.
Upon arrival, Officer Garcia informed him there was an order being put in place. He Dennis the order
stated he had to leave the residence. The male advised he was completely blind and had no assistance
for getting around. He also advised he had no money and no cards to purchase a hotel room for the
night. He stated he had no family in the area and the closest person was his brother, who lived in
Pennsylvania. Officer Garcia attempted to get a hold of the one of Dennis's only friends, who did not
answer. He purchased a night stay at a local hotel.
On May 20, 2023, Officer Garcia used the community care fund for the male from case on May 19,
2023 to stay at the hotel for two more nights until the morning of 05/22/2023. The male is blind and
recently was removed from his residence due to a no contact order between himself and his girlfriend.
The male was provided one night (05-20- 2023).
