On 3/07/23 at 0410 hours, an adult male, his wife and two sons (12 and 5) were provided a hotel room at EconoLodge. He advised he had arrange a place to stay with a friend. He advised he and his family traveled from California, but when they arrived the friend denied them aplace to stay. To add to the issue, he lost his card, which left the family with $40.00. When I contacted him, the entire family was bundled uptogether outside in the 32 degree weather. The children were audibly whimpering from the cold and were visibly shivering. A single nighthotel room was purchased to allow the children and family some time out of the weather and provide him time during business hours to contact family in Portland and Spokane during normal daytime hours.
