On 11/26/2022 Officer Gregg received an email from the administrative assistant to the Chief of Police. She had been interfacing with Hawthorne Elementary School who was looking to house a female with 5 kids. The female explained she has come across tough times and ishomeless with five children. They are working on a permanent housing solution but until Monday, needed housing through the weekend. The female was staying at the Baymont Hotel located at 4220 W 27th Ave. She was out of funding and only requested two additional night’s stay at the hotel. Officer Gregg paid for two additional night’s stay at the Baymont.
