On 11/15/2022 around 1115 hours, Officer Garcia was dispatched to an assist at the Clover Island Inn. Upon arrival to the Clover Island Inn, hespoke with a male who informed him of the following. He had been recently evicted from his house on Friday night. He stated he and his son had nowhere else to stay. Officer Ramos assisted the male and his son with four nights at the Clover Island Inn. He stated he had attempted toget in touch with Housing Resource Center (HRC), but they had been closed due to the weekend. He then stated they only operate Tuesday through Thursday. He had contacted them today and they informed him they could help assist him. The male stated that he went Monday to work source to get employment. He stated he was going to head to HRC after speaking with Officer Garcia. I also contacted SARC, inreference to other resources, using my department issued phone. SARC informed Officer Garcia that HRC is currently accepting online applications and they are willing to assist the male in completing the forms. A couple more nights were purchased.
