On March 2, 2022 Officer Ealy-Thomas was contacted by a female who advised she had
recently fallen on hard times. She had been living at Motel 6 in Richland, however she felt very unsafe
there due to all the drug activity around the location. She moved out and started staying in her vehicle
but ran out of gas in Pasco. Her car was towed by PPD. The female told the officer that she had a
housing voucher from the Housing Authority, however she needed a place to stay for a few days until
the Housing Authority had permanent housing for her. Funds were used to pay for a few nights at Clover
Island Inn until her permanent housing is available for her.4
