On March 20, 2020, Officer Brakebill responded to a residential burglary. The victim of the residence
was burglarized and assaulted by an unknown juvenile male. The male broke in through a window,
causing lacerations on his body and getting blood all throughout the entire apartment. The victim had
four children with her in the apartment at the time of the incident. Due to the damage to the window
and the amount of blood in the apartment, Officer Brakebill purchased two hotel rooms for her family
through the weekend to allow for repairs and cleanup.
