On May 21, 2019 officers responded to a female asking for assistance with temporary lodging
while she waits for her approved HUD housing to come through. She recently became
unemployed and is struggling to provide for her 2 adopted and 1 special needs children. Three
nights were purchased at Clover Island Inn for her. Officer asked if she needed assistance with
food and she declined and advised she had state assistance for food. She was very grateful a
temporary lodging was provided for her.
