On January 31, 2021, at around 1241 hours, officers were dispatched to a disturbance at the location. Dispatch advised that caller was calling in saying that his daughter was at the location to pick up her daughter and he thought with her past that she would have drugs with her, so he would not open the door. Daughter called dispatch stating that she was there to pick up her daughter and her father was keeping her from her. Upon arrival, contact was made with daughter by an officer and another officer made contact with her father Gary. After speaking to both parties, it was determined that daughter did have a past with trouble, but was working to get everything taken care of. She currently has full custody of her daughter and asked her father to watch her for the last six days while she went to take care of legal issues in California. She got those taken care of and came to get her daughter. Caller had no proof that anything was currently wrong with his daughter. He did not know what to do. Officers asked what her plan was and she wanted to go to Salem. She was going to get approval through her probation officer and take her and her daughter to a sober house to live. It was found that her license was suspended and officers her that if she could get a licensed driver that we would work on getting her and her daughter a safe place to stay. Her sister stepped up and was able to drive her to the Red Lion at 5616 W. Clearwater, where a three nights stay was purchased for her.
