Detective was working a case where a victim of domestic violence was strangled. The female victim escaped the apartment with injuries to her neck. The female was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment. The suspect left the location with their 4-year-old daughter with treats to kill her. An AMBER Alert was created for the child. The female was placed in a local hotel, and a phone was purchased to keep in contact with her while the suspect was loose with the child. The child was located safe and returned to mother at the hotel.
