On November 8, 2025, Officer Kleppin responded to a vehicle accident. One of the vehicles in the accident was an elderly couple. Their vehicle was total and they were from La Grande, Oregon. The couple did not have any family members that could come to get them and take them home. Officer Kleppin contacted a taxi company who was willing to drive them home. Officer Kleppin made all the arrangements to make the couple make it home safe.
