Case #25-029786

On April 24, 2025 at about 0132 hours, Officer Le contacted a van parked in the Edison boat launch parking lot for violation of park hours. He identified the male driver who said he was living out of the van with his wife, and four children. He told Officer Le that he was from Connell and recently lost a place to live and became unemployed. He said he was currently trying to enroll his children in KSD and working with CAC to secure housing at the Meadow Park Apartments. He also had an appointment at 1000 hours with Columbia Basin Work Source to find new employment. Officer Le assisted the man by paying for a full tank of gas and paying for food for his family. He attempted to book lodging for the man and his family but was unable to find a hotel with available space.
