November 20, 2024October 15, 24 Officer Castilleja was in the area of Canal Drive and Fruitland Street when he observed a citizen pushing his Harley Davidson motorcycle on the sidewalk. The citizen looked fatigued and out of breath, as if he had been pushing it for quite some time. Officer Castilleja contacted 67-year old male who told him his collectors motorcycle 1946 Harley stopped working due to a mechanical issue. He stated the motorcycle quit on him near the Veterans Memorial in Columbia Park. This meant he had pushed his motorcycle for about 1.5 miles and he still had about another mile to go before he was home. The male was insistent that he was going to push the motorcycle all the way home. Officer Castilleja advised the male he would get a tow truck to assist him. He was very grateful for the assistance he received.
