On December 27, 2023, Officer Richardson was dispatched to an Assault Domestic Violence call. He
contacted the mother of the victim at Trios Hospital. The victim was a five year old. The mother stated
her husband and the father of the child assaulted the child by putting his hand around the child’s neck
leaving a bruise. She stated her husband is very controlling, verbally/emotionally abusive, and is the
breadwinner for the family. She stated she would be staying with a friend for the time being.
She expressed the financial burden being she is unemployed and has four children with her. A pre-paid
$200 gift card was purchased with the assistance of the community care fund. This was purchased to
alleviate some for the financial burden of food and fuel days prior to the holidays.
