On November 26, 2023, Trooper Dietrich with the Washington State Patrol called to see if the
Community Care Fund could help a family who was involved in a collision on I-82. A family of 4, husband,
wife and two teenage children, were in a car accident. Wife was transported to Trios to be treated for
her injuries. Their car was totaled and they needed a place to stay for the night. Officer Pursley used the
Community Care Fund to get a hotel room for the family, which gave time for the other family members
to pick them up and take them home.
