On 06/29/2022 Officer Garcilazo contacted a female, who advised she ran to the Police department with her young son to get help. She saidshe was scared to go home and did not feel safe. She said her husband threw her across the room and held up a machete. She said she wasscared to speak to officers on scene due to repercussions. Officer Garcilazo provide female with resources for domestic violence and utilized the Community Care fund to place her and her son at the Clover Island Inn for 2 nights. While speaking with them, her son said he was hungry. Officer Garcilazo ordered Dominos for lunch/dinner.
