On January 11, 2020, a female returned to the Tri-Cities after living in Oregon. She is on public assistance
in Oregon and is in contact with DSHS currently to transfer residency back to Kennewick. She has three
children that are in foster care and she wants to re-unite with them. She has only had few dollars and no
place to stay thinking there were homeless shelters available for her. Using funds, the officer arranged
three nights stay at the Super 8, which is in walking distance to DSHS for her appointments.
