On September 23, 2019, Officer Castilleja was contacted by a female asking for assistance from
the Community Care. She advised she is currently unemployed and needed $53.95 in order to
make her rent payment. She explained that she lost her job after her 23-year-old daughter was
in a serious car accident and she was forced to care for her. Officer Castilleja confirmed the
accident. She said she is looking for a job but wanted to secure the rent to avoid being kicked
out. Funds were used to assist her with her request.
