On February 19, 2019 officers responded to a follow-up from a domestic violence call from the
night before, they contacted the victim and her 14 year old son. They had spent the night at a
friend’s house. The friend was evicted from the house, leaving victim and her son homeless.
Victim requested assistance for one night because Domestic Services had obtained one month
of housing but not until the next day. Officers transported her and son to Clover Island Inn and
funds were used to pay for one night.
