On May 30, 2018 – A local young single mother, is working on getting her High School Diploma. She had a child as a teenager which resulted in her dropping out of High School. As a young adult, she has decided to get her diploma and not her GED. She is completing a program at CBC where she will receive her diploma. As part of the program, one of her assignments is doing a project relating to police evidence. KPD Evidence Tech has been working with her as a professional mentor and subject expect. She has limited means, determined and making positive progress in life. Evidence Tech filled her car with gas as a means to provide police department encouragement.
