On December 20, 2019, Officer Melone responded to a suicidal subject at the Kennewick Suites room 211. Crisis advised that a male stated he needed someone to pay for his motel room and that he was suicidal. Upon arrival, contact was made with the male. He advised that he was $20 short to pay for the room for the night. He has been staying at the location and all of his personal property. He stated he needed help paying for the room for the night. He said that his mother would help him tomorrow and he was starting a new job on Monday. The Community Care Fund was used to pay for 1-night lodging at the location. It was explained to him that this was only for 1 night. He was very grateful.
