On November 21, 2019, a male got intoxicated and pointed a gun at his own head. His 13-year-old and 11-year-old children were in the home. He continued to display the gun in a reckless manner amounting to reckless endangerment. The older child ran to a neighbor and called her grandparents. Officers arrested him for reckless endangerment and immediately connected him with mental health services. The children were placed in protective custody. Both children had not eaten dinner yet. Detectives took the children to KFC restaurant and purchased them both dinner.
