On April 11, 2019 Officer Canada was dispatched to assist at the Econolodge. He contacted a
male, his wife and two sons, (one is autistic), who asked for assistance with one night. He
explained that they have been at the hotel for a week via state funds. He was asking for
assistance for one night as they had an apartment for them the following day. He advised that
they have exhausted all other means and the female suffers from PTSD and the male suffers
from depression. They said they had the option of going to the mission but they would be split
up, due to all their medical issues and they wanted to stay together. Officer Canada verified
their information was true and they had no prior contacts with law enforcement. Funds were
used for one night at econolodge.
