Community Care Cases

On November 15, 2018 Officer McGee contacted a family of four in crisis, grandmother and 4 grandkids. A Juvenile female was having behavioral issues and the grandmother, caretaker, did not know what to do. Grandmother has had her since female was an infant. While the officer was investigating the case the officer discover that the family was homeless and living in their car for approximately a month. Officer believed some of the issues were as a result of the situation they are in.  A room at Motel 6 was provided for 5 nights for the grandma and the 4 kids. Grandma broke down crying and was very appreciative of the assistance being provided to her.
